Always a pleasure to walk the dogs around Knighton Park. Plenty of paths to take and explore and is very well kept. ScruffyThomas coffee is well worth a visit who is usually there on Thursdays to Sundays. Check out the converted horse box near to the toilet block ☕️.

Lovely large park with great open spaces for dogs to run around in, with a handy stream for muddy dogs to get wash in. Saw a couple of great children’s play areas too. The car park is quite large with two ev charging points to. Best park I’ve been to in ages.

Good place to walk the dogs and a safe childrens play area. There is also an outside gym/exercise yard and tennis courts. The childrens play area is split into three sections I'm guessing that's for different age groups/abilities. There are paved and woodland trails with a selection of wide open spaces for joggers, cyclists and dog walkers or those just wanting a stroll in the fresh air. There is a stream that runs through the area but I feel like I need to warn you:-. It is fed by run off from the surrounding roads drainage and therefore does carry A LOT of pollution. This is proven by the distinct lack of aquatic life. Not even stickle backs or crayfish. We could not even find any water bugs. Which is a great shame really for such a pretty area. There are plenty of benches to rest your weary legs and there is also a picnic area and public toilets nearby. To be totally honest they are a little bit smelly (typical public toilets) but not unusable. On most days throughout the spring and summer there is usually an ice cream seller and a hot drinks van NR the picnic area. Only other 2 things that I think needs a mention is:- During heavy rain some areas can get a bit, let's say overwhelmed by water and more bins are needed as several areas don't have any at the time I write this(late 2024). I mean who needs to be carrying a bag of dog meds around with them whilst they try and enjoy their walk?? However, ending on a positive note. The place is relatively rubbish free and kept tidy most of the time.

Lovely park to take the kids, bring your wellies to paddle in the stream, explore the sensory garden (check opening hours as not open at weekend), have a picnic in the large park or play in the playground.

A nice friendly park for dog walking and exploring off the paths onto leavy and grassiy areas. Clean with plenty of bins, free parking and easy to get to. Lovely to see it being used by a wide verity of people and children. The cyclists are very polite and ring their bell if approaching from behind, and the paths are split for cyclists and walkers, which is really helpful. Overall an excellent experience. There is something for everyone here and well worth the trip.

Great place to go for a walk. Plenty of benches for the not so adventurous & and occasionally, there is a mobile coffee shop for a nice warmer. If you have a dog, let them loose for a good run around. Usual park wildlife to look for & even the odd unexpected visitor (heron). Small brook runs along one side, ideal for dogs that like a bit of a splash (don't forget the towel down, before leaping back into your car). Decent amount of parking also available. Couple of recently refurbished tennis courts available to book. Have fun.
